Thrift Store Employee Spotlight: Miss Hattie

We are excited to spotlight Miss Hattie, one of our dedicated thrift store sorters who has been with our organization for a little over a year! Miss Hattie helps pick out all the wonderful home linens and decorations for our shoppers. Every morning, Miss Hattie can be found pushing a big cart up our hill full of goodies for the store. She is quite the animal lover herself with six animals at home! We are so grateful for her hard work and positive spirit.

Adoption Center Employee Spotlight: Natalie Peña

Our adoption center spotlight shines on our incredible Medical Coordinator, Natalie Peña! Natalie has been with the organization for a little over three years and is truly the backbone of the adoption center. She works tirelessly to ensure that all of our animals are medically taken care of, vaccinated, and spayed or neutered. Pictured with her is Cleo, her dog that she adopted right here from our adoption center last year—and the two of them are completely inseparable! Thank you, Natalie, for your unwavering devotion to our animals' health and well-being.

Thanksgiving & Holiday
Food Safety Warning!

With Thanksgiving approaching, we want to remind everyone to keep toxic holiday foods away from our pets. Turkey bones, cooked skin, onions, garlic, raisins, grapes, and chocolate can be extremely dangerous or life-threatening to dogs and cats.

Emergency Advice: If your pet ingests any harmful holiday foods, please contact your veterinarian immediately for instructions.

Holiday Giving & Gratitude

November is all about giving thanks! We love seeing our adopted alumni enjoying the cozy fall weather with their families. Share your Thanksgiving pet photos with us on Facebook or email!
