Barks, Bands and Brews: Fundraiser to Support Spay & Neuter Program.

Animal shelters across the nation are feeling the critical situation of the growing numbers of abandoned, lost or homeless animals. Mountain Shelter Humane Society Adoption Center along with the majority of shelters is at capacity with a long waiting list. Spaying and neutering is the key to keeping pets and stray animals out of overcrowded shelters and giving them healthier, happier lives. To increase awareness and raise funds to create a free and low cost spay and neuter program we are presenting the “Barks, Bands & Brews” fundraiser on October 19th from 2 pm to 6 pm at the Sand Bar & Grille in Hiawassee. The event is free. There will be opportunities for silent auction items and opportunities for donations.
